A sustainable mix of family houses and generous dual aspect apartments are provided in this project for London and Quadrant Housing Group.
The design mediates between the urban streetscape of Southend Lane and existing suburban housing.
Apartment blocks at the front of the site incorporate bright, optimistic facades. Curved buildings act as gateposts and create a welcoming entrance which leads into the heart of the site. Here, terraces of mews houses are arranged around a large mature oak tree and ‘Homezone’ street layouts add to the family friendly environment.
