Tower Hamlets housing choice

In collaboration with Gateway Housing Association, MEPK have developed ideas for the regeneration of various estates in Tower Hamlets. The proposals address the diverse community as well as the specific needs of the elderly, young and families. The vision is to transform the estates into places where people want to live, bring up children and retire.

Our investigation looked into improving safety, security, landscaping and the creation of defensible space across the estates. In addition we looked into the potential for new play areas, sports pitches and other community facilities. All dwellings will be refurbished to ensure they achieve Decent Homes Standards.
