Pears Road

This mixed tenure housing scheme for A2Dominion provides 25 houses and apartments.

The scheme is higher than the surrounding townscape and, considering its backland location, is relatively high density. To avoid undue impact on neighbouring properties, our design is carefully located, orientated & modulated.

A terrace of houses with a rhythm of projecting bays create an active street frontage at the front of the site.  Prominent glazed projections defining the locations of apartment entrances provide a visual focus to the view into the site.

The use of stock brickwork and traditional building forms on the houses compliment the surrounding streets. These combine with contemporary elements which provide a fresh and optimistic aesthetic.
