Circa Apartments

The building provides 62 apartments with basement car parking for developer Barratt.

This scheme is high density and when it was approved by the London Borough of Camden in 2002 the planning committee said it was “one of the best schemes we have seen.”

Due to the sites’ prominence and its proximity to the famous Roundhouse Theatre, approval was also required and obtained from English Heritage and CABE.

The design draws inspiration from its location.  The ‘rhythm’ of stock brick and rendered panels on the front facade reflect the scale of the historic houses of nearby Primrose Hill. The scheme is however thoroughly contemporary in character and a dramatic curved terracotta clad feature block is located opposite the Roundhouse Theatre.
