Gilmac

Located on a prominent site in North London this design for a new flagship headquarters building has a distinctive ‘grand piano’ shaped form generated by its challenging triangular site.

A complex mix of uses housed in the building includes manufacturing and finishing areas, offices and a gallery in a striking rooftop pavilion. The different functions inside the building are articulated externally and facades are animated by different shaped windows and coloured panels.

Off-cuts from the manufacturing process will be used to provide a sustainable source of energy on-site.
