Old Ford Road

MEPK have combined a new Methodist Church with nine dwellings on this tight urban site in Bow, East London.

A contemporary modulated composition is integrated with stock brickwork to anchor the building to its locality. Subtle townscape landmarks, which signal the entrances to the church and apartments, are created by reinforcing the massing on the street corners.

This project meets the requirements of Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and incorporates solar panels to generate renewable energy.
