Digby Gardens sheltered housing

This project creates a new community for the elderly in the heart of Dagenham.

35 bungalows and 2 wheelchair houses are located in neighbourly groups and are arranged around a communal square providing a central focus and meeting place. Bungalows have small manageable private gardens and are designed to Lifetime Homes Standards.

The design combines a progressive suburban aesthetic with traditional materials and scale.
