Goodwill Drive

Goodwill Drive was awarded CABE’s / HBF’s Building for Life Silver Standard in the 2010 Building for Life awards.

The development provides 159 new homes of mixed tenure, and incorporates additional community facilities in the form of a children’s centre, shop, recreational open space and Sports Fun Zone.

The design employs a contemporary palette of materials which references the existing suburban housing.

The urban design strategy makes use of landmark features to punctuate the development with 4 storey apartment blocks and terraces of 3 storey houses to form streets that lead to ‘residential squares’ and more discreet mews courtyards.

The overall scale of the development has been reduced to smaller more identifiable ‘neighbourhoods’ promoting a sense of place and community values.
